How does Loot Party work?
Every party is 3,333 tickets (cause you know, 3 is a magic number). Tickets are sold through our ERC1155 contract, you can mint 1 ticket or you can mint 100 — it costs the same! Really, why buy 1, when you could be buying 100.
When a party is over, a random winner (the party king!) is selected from all party buyers to receive 50% from the Loot Pool. A second winner (the party jester!) is also selected to receive an additional 5% from all past parties. This means that even old tickets are worth keeping hold of, as if the art wasn’t good enough already! 10% is sent to the Party DAO, a revolution in art governance (scroll down for more info!).The rest of the pool rolls over to the next party, letting each consecutive party grow larger than the previous one. Forever. You better tell your friends to come join the party.
The Loot Party never stops, as soon as one party sells out another begins, and with the Loot Pool growing every time, the party just keeps getting hotter!
In party round #1 the winner goes home with 10 eth. In party round #22 we are over 100 eth and at #100 we are over 500 eth each party. Mike drop.
What’s so great about the Loot Party tech?
You really still need to ask? Ok, here goes:
- The Loot Party contract is based on an ERC1155, meaning you can batch mint multiple tickets at no additional cost, view and trade your tickets on OpenSea.
- The winner is selected through a random seed provided by Chainlink’s VRF, the most reputable source of random numbers on the blockchain.
- The odds of winning are truly incredible for a lottery, and the more tickets you multiply your chances of winning the grand loot.
- The majority of the Loot Pool is paid out to party ticket holders, we only withdraw a nominal 5% fee to cover development and server costs, and paying for the Chainlink VRF. We also use this fee to front the cost of expensive transactions such as storing the random seeds and calculating winners (gas ain’t free you know!).
- Our contract has been highly optimized and audited for safety and efficiency, making sure you pay the least amount of gas when purchasing tickets and withdrawing funds (we want you partying, not sponsoring miners).

- Tickets are stored on an ERC1155 contract, making them viewable and tradable on marketplaces like OpenSea.
- Each ticket is uniquely designed by the Loot Party Art Department headed by Fritz, and we will be hosting guest artists for unique ticket drops.
- Holding a ticket qualifies you not only for the Grand Loot party you bought into, but any subsequent Runner Up Loot.
- You better hold on to your ticket! Our Art Department is cooking up an amazing NFT project that will only be accessible to Loot Party ticket holders (patience child, more on that later!)

You are a curious one. Good, we like that here! 10% of all ticket sales go to our Party DAO. The accrued funds will be used buy and commission NFT art. Ownership is equally split amongst ticket holders. In other words, every ticket will be backed by NFTs and the community gets propose and vote on what to buy.
